Open Coffee @ Bios
Today the Open Coffee event was organised in Bios by a friend and his company aiming to provide a stand for the greek start-ups through an unofficial way. It managed to attract quite a few people in order to practice socialising. Quite an effort that deserves the applause from everybody.
Nothing really special to notice except from the speech made by the managing director of Attica Ventures who emphasized that in Greece the mobility of Ventures is very low and they as company are searching for S.A.s !!!!! to invest with guidance in the management and with the provision of capital that is estimated to reciprocate financial wealth. That was accepted as granted by the majority of the participants and was really fun to watch coming into contradiction to what is happening in the USA by the following presentation· The experience of 2 college students that went to the USA so as to develop a 3rd party application for facebook which managed to attract 4 million users in 2 months. Their first sentences where that you just jump into a train and all follows, developers, programmes, capital, connections. I was really impressed by their experience and lets hope one day I will be there to live it.
The open coffee event is organised every first Tuesday of each month. Better keep your minds open for the next
