Honestly, do NOT ever involve in getting a house loan from Greece, the procedure is tragic!!!
The prerequisites are hilarious and the people are plain stupid, they want papers going back to the ’80s and quite frankly I regret ever getting in the position of needing a bank in the first place. Noone knows the exact order of actions and everyone believes that you magically have knowledge of their work. Come on people its your job to inform me not the other way around. At least this is what I do in my field. I inform people on a procedure that (may be simple at most cases) must be followed regardless of their knowledge (or absense for that matter) on EU projects. In Greece everyone is an expert and noone has a clue… To sum up, before entering the dance floor be 100% sure that you know all the steps.
