Lefkada for the weekend
After Mykonos & Ksylokastro it was Lefkadas turn for a short visit. Deciding as always at the last minute to visit a friend, who is working for the season at the No 1 beach all over Europe for windsurfing. Vasiliki beach, while rather swallow for my taste, is an excellent, clean & board-crowded beach. I really enjoyed the hundreds windsurfers trying to tame the high wind present in the area. On Saturday the day was a little different at Kathisma beach. A lot of sunbathing along with some intense racket balling were the main activities for the early hours. At this point, I have to note that the water was really dirty leaving you a bad impression about the islands’ waters. The sunbathing ended when we realized the presence of Colpa where we drunk the best Mojhito ever, cudos to the guys there. A lot of good music, young faces and an excellent aora that was improssible to sleep on since I found myself on the ground twice just trying to get up on it. ;)
Next stop Sifnos!!!! Then who knows Parga? Lefkada again ? or Tinos??? Any suggestions…
